A Chance to See and Buy My Work
During the month of April the Pacific Northwest Botanical Artists, a chapter of the
American Society of Botanical Artists, had it's annual display and sale of framed art
by members at the UW Center for Urban Horticulture Miller Library. PNBA will
donate 25% of sales from the exhibition to the Library.
The exhibit began Friday evening, April 6, with an opening party to celebrate the
Library's annual Book Sale which lasts the entire weekend. The exhibit will stay up
in the library until May 8 which is the weekend of the CUH's annual Master Gardener'
Plant Sale. PNBA will have a sales booth at the plant sale also so there are two
good chances to buy my botanical art framed, in print form, and in greeting card
format.
On May 11 The Bloedel Reserve on Bainbridge Island is exhibiting the work of
PNBA artists and my work will be represented there as well. The Gatehouse
reception area and gift shop will stock cards and prints by the artists in the exhibit.
There will be a reception and welcoming event on the evening of May 11 from 5 - 7.
In June The Gallery in Winslow will feature a show titled "The Island Garden" in
which my work will be shown. They have decided to use one of my paintings of
tulips as the image on their promotional postcard.

The University of Washington held a two day conference on plant conservation in
March, 2012. Artists and photographers were invited to display their work
representing native plants during the month of March at the Center for Urban
Horticulture Library on the campus. The conference attendees voted for their
favorite artworks and my watercolor of Rosa Nutkana won third prize.
